Yeah, the absolute worst and saddest and petrifying aspect of that observation is that so many Americans are so ripe for the plucking. So many Americans are stupid, gullible idiots. Fortunately, I hear they identify themselves as Republicans, and they are the minority.
Innumeracy? They hear words like “million” and “billion,” but they have no conception of what they really are like and how they compare to the $50,000 a year that shows up on their W2 (not that they really know how much that is since they never have more than a few thousand in the bank at any given moment, if that). So when the GOP promises to protect the interests of the millionaires and billionaires, they imagine that they are just a short step from joining that auspicious distinction.
To the GOP, it’s Us vs Them. No matter the issue, anyone who is not a Republican is the enemy, and therefore must be defeated, regardless of their POV.
Isn’t behavior such as this a sign of senility?
Here’s an idea for the infrastructure bill.
A no-vote is the same as opting out.
There are times I do wonder what drives this vile little man and then I realize there’s no point worth knowing.
“I never wonder to see men wicked, but I often wonder to see them not ashamed.” – Jonathan Swift
Mitch constantly putting himself in difficult to explain positions …
Tapping into the simian brain tribalism. Have to defend the tribe from outsiders. No matter who they are or what they might do for you. They are “other” and must be defeated.
I just can not figure Mitch’s game. He is dancing around in circles all the time anymore. He is playing both sides of an issue in a namby pamby sort of way.
Somethings happening here
What it is ain’t exactly clear
And anything a Democrat says MUST be countered, even if it’s “the sun is out.” It’s so tedious. Here’s my question: When all the idiots are too poor to buy crap, then what?
“only to pan it as a “windfall” that can’t happen again, all in the same breath.”
If only we can make sure another McConnell can’t happen again.
He will be reelected if he runs.
He just got reelected to his 6th and hopefully final term that he hopefully will not finish.
When Nancy whacks a mole, she really whacks a mole.

Repeatedly voting for the self-serving gazillionaire idiot trying to keep you in poverty, and from voting?
The people who vote for him aren’t the ones he’s trying to keep from voting. Quite the opposite.
“It passed on a straight party line vote, not a single member of my party voted for it. So you’re going to get a lot more money,” McConnell said. “I didn’t vote for it, but you’re going to get a lot more money. Cities and counties in Kentucky will get close to $700-800 million.”
The Mitch McConnell of just two or three years ago would never have even thought about saying something so target-rich, something that will be repeated ad nauseum in campaign ads all across the country. For all the talk of Biden’s mental capacity, we really need to be talking about McConnell’s because something ain’t right and it hasn’t been for awhile now.

He is dancing around in circles all the time anymore.
His party is now totally outside his experience. He is also up against some very strong Democrat moves. Who really is paying attention to him.
He is that old guy showing up at the former workplace and telling the young’uns how to do it right. Meanwhile they nod their heads and look back at their screens. Meanwhile he is throwing anything at the wall to appear relevant.
Dear Mitch,
Hurry up and die.
Regards,
Stills the same.
Something definitely ain’t right about Mitch. Just look at how all of that dark money has discolored his hands.
