Perhaps Senator McConnell will decide to retire? He’s been the brains of the Republican Party (apparently, there are no contenders, either) for the last few decades. He hasn’t groomed (heh!) a successor for Senate leadership? Nor pushed for a designated successor to his Senate seat?

It look like he had a stroke, or some other major medical incident. Why are they trying to hide that fact? I posted immediately a video on TikTok where I wished him well with empathy because it looked like he had had a stroke, and I don’t even wish that on my enemies. Is my reaction not universal? Is my empathy not shared by those of its own party? Do they really think that being human makes him weaker? I just don’t understand, and I hope he gets the help he needs if he did have a stroke.
And I vote that we give them exactly as much deference and respect as they have.

I absolutely agree. And while he’s at it (if he had a pair) he’d invent some new bullshit rule like, Democrats can pass anything they want on their own as long as there’s no Republican leader. I mean, Mitch would do it.
