Mitch throwing Donny under the bus? You mean it wasn’t a perfect response?

Impeachment wasn’t what fired the Global Response team. Impeachment didn’t fire our pandemic folks located in China…

That seems like a really weak political position to take.

If they can’t think about more than one thing at a time then you really should not have those jobs. Because there will always be another emergency and you will need to handle it. This excuse just makes them sound more incompetent.

Gee, Bill Clinton managed to continue to do the job when he was being impeached, and it went on a lot longer.

What’s the matter, Mitch? Trump can’t handle it?

Then resign.

They wanna really die on this hill? What was Trump actually busy with? Rage tweeting about the impeachment on his john, followed by loyalty purges, and then, when the problem started coming into view, attacking the mounting concern over COVID as a Democratic hoax. Oh, and shipping tons of medical equipment…to China.

From LATE February. 20 days after the Senate voted not to convict:

Again: Feb 26. LONG after the Impeachment and Senate trials.

Let’s face it. All those HHS witnesses during the trial were probably unnecessary. The parade of witnesses from across the federal government seemed to never end. We should be applauding the GOP Senate for taking impeachment seriously, and, yes, it did distract them until last week. /s

Good grief.

More bullsh*t from Moscow Mitch. He doesn’t belong in power.

The minority party Republicans do not belong in power, and they simply cannot win on a level playing field.

Even Resident Rump knows it:
