McCarthy is way below human….not sure what species he belongs to….

….in terms of chromosome count per cell, even the Australian Ant is of a higher order. They have one.

Dimmest of dim bulbs McCarthy at one time placed responsibility squarely on Donnie. Now, acting like a windmill, all has changed. Kevin is a stupid, hypocritical toady. Having already been castrated, he has no more cojones. None. Sad.

First off for Cheney it is one of the best political moves anyone could make. She has set herself up as being a media darling “moderate” well supporting every hard right Republican policy from pulling out of the Iran nuclear deal to voter suppression and voter nullification to stacking the Supreme Court to massive tax cuts for billionaires either not paid for or paid for by cutting any help to ordinary people to every lie, stupid and mean thing including child separation. She will no doubt be a candidate for the GOP presidential nomination in at least 2024 and 2028.

But I agree that what McCarthy is doing is not the best politics. The best politics for Republicans has always been to avoid issues by demonizing their opponents and especially Nancy Pelosi. That making Grandma Pelosi look like the devil was always a hard sell to anyone not afraid of women, like it or not it had much success in the media. But I think his school yard taunts are trivializing and having the opposite affect of demonizing Pelosi.

But you always have to play the hand you are dealt and McCarthy deciding his future is tied to Trump, is playing his hand.

Being a dickhead has been the Republican way since Nixon. It’s a feature not a bug to them. They want “fighters and bullies out to get theirs”… not arugula eating peaceniks who know too much.

In Arabic, Al-Qaeda means “The Base.” Donnie and all of the RWNJ’s are always concerned about “their base.” Coincidence?? Hmmmmm…

Cheney may have set herself up as a media darling and a “moderate” but do remember that she still is and always has been a right winger and not a middle of the road person.
(dang I hate spell check/autocorrect… it will not let me be “creative” in my word usage)

The way I look at this - they don’t care about Civics class. They don’t care about the rules of engagement.

All they want is their savior back in the Oval so they can continue their mischief and, THIS TIME, make the insurrection and subsequent autocratic government a reality.

Neither Cheney nor Kinzinger has presented themselves as anything other than conservative Republicans.

They just happen to belong to a vanishingly small group of GQPers who actually believe in the US Constitution.

If they are Pelosi Republicans what does that make the rest of the GOP…

DUH of course… ASSHOLES.

Apparently the only grown up Republicans have been given the name “Pelosi Republicans.”

This may become quite convenient for the media in the near future. For instance, if any Republican has not been given the title of “Pelosi Republican,” the media should not take anything they say or do seriously - except as it may relate to attempts to overthrow American democracy and obtain complete authoritarian power.

I dunno… he sounds stupid if we look at what he’s saying in the context of his actual ability to do anything as minority leader, but we’re not his audience. Everything he says is aimed at the MAGA base that will drive the GOP primaries next year. They don’t know the ins and outs of how Congress actually works. So he can say literally anything. Even if it doesn’t make sense, it might still be politically effective. He learned this from Trump.
