House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) on Monday took aim at Reps. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) for accepting House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) offer to join the select committee investigating the events of Jan. 6.
Kinzinger and Cheney already know their future. They accepted their position and status.
I don’t get it. McCarthy thinks he is going to call names and they will roll over or run home crying. He is so far out of his league he needs to be held back a grade and take remedial adulting.
What a dickhead. Way to show leadership. Don’t back your members, insult them and don’t participate in an investigation of insurrectionists that attacked our Capitol.
As much of the Twitterverse is now replying, Lindell seems to have missed that one civics class in which he would have learned that it’d be the Speaker of the House who’d then become president if Biden and Harris resigned. Yes: President Pelosi.
Qevin MqQarthy is, by all accounts, really quite stupid.
Lindell thinks that a bunch of Democrats are first going to switch parties in the House and vote for Trump as Speaker. Voila, Trump is president again.
Says a lot that he was once one of the “Young Guns” along with those other luminary success stories, Eric “Lost my primary to a Crank” Cantor and Paul “Can’t run away from the Speaker’s Gavel fast enough” Ryan.
McCarthy reminds me of a guy I grew up with: he inherited his father’s heavy machinery business and drove the multi-million dollar operation into bankruptcy in less than a decade. It all started by him mistreating the older operators who responded by quitting en masse.
He soon found out replacing experienced operators was not an easy task. The younger clowns he had left became major screwup artists with the older guys no longer there to set them straight.
