Acting Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan stated that domestic terrorism is “absolutely” a bigger threat than international terrorism on Sunday.
The white nationalist problem has direct links to the assault weapons problem. If we take away the assault weapons -the problem doesn’t go away -but is mitigated. Of course, they can escalate to bombs, but that would totally change the equation, taking the threat to an even higher level.
We need to take this threat as seriously as we did Al Queda and Isis.
And those who foment domestic terrorism, either indirectly or directly, include Trump, some in his administration, some of his supporters, Russia, North Korea, and more.
Sorry Captain Obvious, but I’ll wait to believe you until you start violating the rights of white supremacist terrorists. Like, you know, rounding them up and throwing their kids into cages. Or maybe separating them from their real true loves, their AK-47s. Then we’ll know you’re serious.

I seriously doubt he will be Acting for much longer.
The Obama administration let the anti-government “militias” have the national stage that they craved, with no consequences. Don’t even get me started on the BLM-Bundy standoffs. If the Bundy’s were Black, they would all be dead.
This is not new. Another poster here pointed out that the FBI gives them a free pass, for some reason.
“The timing was unfortunate,” McAleenan said on NBC News’s “Meet the Press” U.S. authorities have in recent days strongly defended the raids amid outrage over images of weeping children arriving home to find their parents missing. The operation has also exposed what state and local officials say is a major shortcoming in ICE procedures for dealing with children, with parents caught up in immigration-related enforcement activities while at work unable to pick their children up from school, day-care centers and elsewhere, leaving some of them deserted and scared.
Both Morgan and McAleenan suggested Sunday that videos of children crying after their parents were taken away were designed to elicit sympathy from the public.
Assholes all the way down, you stupid shits those kids were US citizens, and you didn’t notify the state Child Welfare Agency because cruelty is a goal.
And this is Michael Albence on the job gleefully talking to reporters about flying deportees back home. Insufferable prick (sorry I’ve been good all week but if I don’t let the curses out I get constipated)

Smart move by Schumer. Can’t wait to hear the NRA defend this one on the 2nd Amendment. “We need body armor to defend ourselves from wilding deer we just shot?”
