Well, even though he remarkably resembles Robert Chambers (the preppy killer), he is absolutely right that he and ALL other representatives should not be ‘attacked’ physically.
However, “Only incarceration allows me to reinforce to my supporters and opponents alike that Free Speech is welcomed – but assault will not be tolerated.”, makes me think that HE has assumed the power to punish.
Obviously, tolerance and forgiveness elude Mr. Gaetz… shocking!

I’ve never had a drink thrown at me, but I’ve had a woman throw a totally gratuitous and unwarranted insult at me. I brushed it off, I avoided her like the plague. I did not look for revenge. That’s what guys do.
