Trump is very consistent when it comes to caring about Trump. So, the idea of encouraging a governor to do something positive (in order to look Presidential) and then criticizing a governor when he actually does something that is effective (e.g., something that Trump himself did not do) makes perfect sense.
There’s an internal logic to what Trump does, it just isn’t based on honesty, integrity, or personal responsibility.

So, as best as anyone can determine, did Trump order the feds to seize all PPE so that he and his friends could financially and politically profit off the ensuing extortion from states willing to pay whatever demands they imposed on them, or to punish states that won’t play ball with him? Which, come to think of it, is really the same thing. And have any of those seized PPE made it to the places that need them?
Alternatively, could they have been seized for his and his family and allies’ use, if supplies run out and the pandemic gets much worse and lasts much longer?

Looks as if Rubio is doing a bit of social dististancing from Trump.
It would be great if more Reps would start doing this kind of thing. It would drive Trump even crazier, and persuade him to do crazier things, than he already is.

I wouldn’t be surprised to find out Kim Jung Un is actually in hiding from the coronavirus. Missing major NK anniversaries is not something he typically does, but if given a choice, I think he’d prefer staying safe over showmanship.
