I wonder how many contributions he has received from Republicans in Virginia and nationwide for tanking McAuliffe.

You might be attributing way too much power to the man.

‘that shows good faith’ he says… from the worst faith negotiator in congress…

Nancy and Jayapal should pass the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill this week. It then becomes Law.

The Reconciliation Bill is in progress.

Right? He wants “good faith” after having given every sign he’s trying to screw them into getting the BIF passed and then either tank BBB entirely or completely remake it.

I’m liking this lady, smart and tough, she is my candidate to succeed Nancy Pelosi.

How Joe Manchin looks to the Democratic world:

He’s as blind as he can be
Just sees what he wants to see
Nowhere man, can you see me at all

I don’t buy it. If McAuliffe loses it will be because of depressed Democratic voter turn out due to do-nothing Democrats. The only way for voters to make their voices heard is to not show up. Which will be explained as running away from the socialist Biden agenda.

Manchin worships bipartisanship, so in his honor I will show mine and agree with Dick Cheney when I say “Go fuck yourself.”

Well, that will be one of the many narratives, I suppose. But I doubt we’ll see any hard data to back up the assertion. Whereas there is hard data in a recent WAPO poll that backs up the angry/frustrated parents hypothesis - if Mac loses.

Schumer Announces Deal On Prescription Drug Provision

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) announced that an agreement on a drug pricing deal that will be included in BBB.

Schumer said that Sen. Sinema — who was a hold out on the prescription drug pricing provision — supports the agreement.

“Many of us would’ve wanted to go much further, but it’s a big step in helping the American people deal with the price of drugs,” Schumer said.

Sinema’s office, in a statement, confirmed her support.

Cut him some slack. He’s a multimillionaire who is concerned about how his grandchildren will fare in a world of free community college, better healthcare, cheaper prescriptions and healthier air.

“We’ll get this back on track,” Manchin added.

…says the guy who Sherman-necktied the rails.

Can anyone imagine Manchin as a delegate to the 2nd Continental Congress in 1775?

We’d all still be speaking with a British accent . . .

And we know this because just like with Republicans we don’t give much weight to words but look for action.

Fucker “signed off” on the $3.5 trillion “framework” when he voted for it back in August.

He is so full of shit, it is breathtaking.
