Dear hubby is not on social media - not one bit. But he’s well aware of how invasive and insecure the internet is. Having all these social media photos that the insurrectionists proudly took and shared all over the world, no other outcome was possible than for all of those photographed to be identified and arrested.
Hubby says, the insurrectionists were pretty damned stupid. I countered with, but they thought they were going to win and it wouldn’t be a problem.

Didn’t really look like it. Wherever I saw it the guys walking up through the mob were being pointed out.
I just saw another video where a reporter dressed in helmet, etc was shoved around then pushed over a wall, finally released by the mob. Totally frightening.

So I can guarantee that this crowd didn’t see it as taking up arms against the United States. They’ve been lied to about the fairness of the election by their Dear Leader, and they think they’re the real patriots, they represent the United States, not the libtards trying to steal the country from them. They thought there would be no consequences because Dear Leader had their back.
