What a stupid conflation of events.

of course I’d mind—and that can be regulated by law for several reasons, including open burning laws, and the fact that such acts are usually seen legally as threats of physical harm.

And then strap it to a piece of balsa and toss it in the Potomac when you’re done with it.

I’ve been wondering whether Trump fans were more apt to come from father absent settings.

These people were so gleeful and gloating as they smashed up the Capitol and hunted Pelosi et al. They seemed delighted to be photographed committing their crimes. Did they not understand they would face serious charges, or did they expect that their hero would issue a mass pardon before departure?!

Plus the gun-toting loony, Lauren Boebert. And in the Senate, there’s Tuberville, plus Hawley and Cruz.

But flying the Confederate battle flag in the Capitol Building is just good old fashioned free speech.

I’m trying to find the video of the packed crowd outside the Capitol with about 6-9 guy in camo moving single file up through the crowd. From what you can see they could be the ones serious on destruction. Anybody seen this one? You can’t see their faces.

“Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort."

I can see a case being made for waving their flag in the halls of Congress as giving traitors aid and comfort.

Where are the fathers in the white seditionist community? It must be a cultural issue that leads them to take up arms against the United States.

I keep wondering if they’d been promised something really nice. Pardon me.

I think the endorsements have left the building long ago. I saw a news feature on him this morning and he had really fallen on hard times since the Olympics, living in his car for a while. He had married, divorced, lost jobs, and generally did not have the life that I’m sure he felt he was due. I would guess that the sense of loss of what he “deserved” made a significant contribution to his radicalization. I’m guessing he’s not the “America’s Sweetheart” type of Olympic champion.

They expected to cow Congress into changing the results of the election which meant they would then be heroes themselves.

Wonder if any of these “he-man wannabes” are getting the message that their little temper tantrums really will NOT be tolerated, and that there are serious consequences for attacking the US Government.
