Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, an organization that boosts anti-abortion politicians, threatened to withhold its support from former President Donald Trump if he doesn’t change his public stance on abortion.

They’ll back ‘ol hammunumnuts’ again, because their alternative is Biden and Harris.

“We will oppose any presidential candidate who refuses to embrace at a minimum a 15-week national standard to stop painful late-term abortions while allowing states to enact further protections,” the group said

SBA List were doing parades after Dobbs, and within reason, they said what they wanted then.

Get em on tape and ask em what they mean by further ‘protections’.

Wow! Not just sounding an alarm, but pounding one? Not sure what that means, but it can’t be good!

If we could just rename this group, which is a travesty to the name of Susan B. Anthony, the “Susan B. Anthony Anti-Women America”!

It is like charging up your credit card and having to payoff the bill.

That is Republicans for 40 years have been buying power on the credit of a promise to outlaw abortion and now the bill has come due.

So the Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America is a death panel.

Are not Republicans against death panels?

“protections” obviously means “bans”, same as when Graham announced his compromise- blue states are forced to ban abortions after 15 weeks (your daily reminder that a woman isn’t actually pregnant until about week 2) and in exchange red states are free to ban abortion at less than 15 weeks

It’s just like the debt limit! Republicans: the party of skipping out on the bill.

Can I venture that,
(i) their support for ‘states rights’ was always opportunistic;
(ii) their end point is not 15 weeks, but a national ban.
Just guessing, ya know, 'cause everything is really unclear.

The Kochs thought they were so smart when they engineered the massive 2010 state-election buy that set up the massive 2011 gerrymander. But instead of winning permanent control of America, they set in motion a white Christian nationalist purity spiral that has taken the party away from them and now threatens to destroy it. May it succeed in destroying the party while it fails in destroying the country. That’s not the only possibility, but it’s the one we must hope and work for.

Nobody is collecting those 5 million. That was the result of arbitration, Lindell is taking the whole thing to court. Besides once Dominion and Smartmatics are done with him, he will struggle to pay 5 dollars.

By all means Republicans make this a central part of your platform for 2024.

“We will oppose any presidential candidate who refuses to embrace at a minimum a 15-week national standard to stop painful late-term abortions while allowing states to enact further protections,”

The group called it an “inaccurate reading” of Dobbs and an unacceptable position for an anti-abortion politician to take.

That overton window is as mobile as chunks of Wall™ washing down the Rio Grande.

The thing that gets me is that they were into putting a human face on this. Trying to prove that they weren’t Carry Nations.

Now’s the bill is due and their savior is a ham fisted knucklehead, who’s only about winning.

So some divine force is shaking up the bugs in the jar to get them to fight. Have at it, Goopers! Let all the anger whipped up by Faux Noise turn inward. These fools are eating their own, and I find it delightful.
