Major Anti-Abortion Organization Attacks Trump For Wanting To Leave It To States

The binding arbitration agreement prohibits that, and courts can read.

Yes…and we did our share by not turning out in 2010.

Pay no attention to any statements attributed to trumpet. He knows not what he says. The proof of that would be if and when he’s asked to elaborate on what he’s just said. He’ll do a 20-minute meaningless riff.

Yes, but my impression is that they’re a minority seeking to impose their program on the nation.
And, they’re not too particular about the means they’ll use to achieve that goal.

This is just slow rolling to get to their end game. They want it banned nationwide. But they’ve figured out the politics are bad for them if they overtly go for that now. So they ban it state by state, and let those states try to enact bullshit laws to penalize citizens of other states for helping or sending meds or transporting, etc. So, sort of a shadow ban. Once they get control of the House, Senate and White House, they will 100% ban it nationally. These are fascist religious nuts.

Ironic that corporations and rich people pushed arbitration so they would more likely win against the little people, and then they go to court when they lose. I guess it’s not enough for them to game the system so they win almost all of the time…we can’t have an America where the wealthy are subjected to any limits! \s

Democrats would have a super-majority in the House if the abortion issue hadn’t been incubated, hatched and nurtured by Republicans clear back during the “sexual revolution” beginning in the 60s. As a party activist, I saw a wave of long-time Dems, including most Catholics, start voting “pro-life” as their main issue (“Babies are being killed by the millions!”) starting with Nixon, and against their own interests even before Roe. Dem leaders had no strategy except acting apologetic. They were embarrassed to have to address the issue, it seemed. Even after Roe they wouldn’t commit to “choice” until post-Clinton. So here we are.

Look what happened in Ireland for a preview of what will happen here:

At the same time, a national vote will help coalesce young people and others who want the government out of our personal medical decisions.

well, the nutty right wouldn’t even have much power if it weren’t for all the gerrymandering and the electoral college weighting of representation. in fact, most people DO want access to abortion to be allowed, but that is just being ignored.

I don’t think Donnie ever subscribed to ‘states rights,’ except perhaps instrumentally. I think it’s pretty clear that, when it came down to it, concentration and centralization of power in his hands was his goal.
I would, therefore, guess that what this dispute is about is what rhetoric he’s going to adopt and, thus, who he’s going to forthrightly ally himself with.

Why, no.
That would be socialistic, Marxist and woke, right?

Needless to say it didn’t go well … for the dog.

I think the real Susan B. Anthony would support a woman’s bodily autonomy as well as full reproductive health care measures.

Yup. And to make it more delicious the data analyst (a two-time Cockholster voter from Nevada) said he found absolutely no evidence of voter fraud whatsoever.

Well, if you read through the mein pillow “prove me wrong” article, you’ll see that he gamed the contest to such an extent that he never even put any packet captures in the dataset. No one was supposed to enter, and only this one guy did, and he had the computer chops to prove that there was no there there. So, meinpillow guy first tried to fix the contest, then win the arbitration, and now is running to the courts to delay paying out. One hopes whatever court he selects will add interest charges, if they take the case. Or make him put the award amount in escrow as a condition of taking the case.
