MAGA Whips Up Conspiracy Theories To Muddy An Act Of Right-Wing Violence

The rate he is going, he may be too occupied with the care facility the GOP may place him in. Basket weaving is soooo involving.

If this was a Christian nation everyone would have health care, children would not go hungry, teachers would be respected, etc.

They never practice what they preach. Too many of these people have no business talking about their faith.

One does not have to be a Christian to do the right thing for others.

I am not sure what Trump or the US military can really do about Israel’s offensive against Iran NOW. Israel is pounding Iran - in two days they have dismantled Iran’s air defenses and established air dominance over the entire country. They certainly don’t need our help or for Trump to tell them what to do next. The US only role is to ship armaments to re-stock the Israeli depots. If Trump were NOT a moron he would keep the US military the Hell out of this.

Israel wants to impose a regime change on Tehran which will go over like a lead balloon in Iran and much of the Middle East. Israel will be about as successful as we were in Iraq. I say good luck with that.

Regime change may be easier than digging out the nuclear factories in their hardened bunkers, but NOT that much easier, and very problematic down the road. Who will govern Iran for Israel in the future ? Certainly not anyone BeBe Netanyahu or Trump would pick for them.

The aftermath of this whole thing could be a hundred year guerrilla war against the West. If Trump had left Obama’s Iran treaty in place, none of this would be necessary…but if a baby toad had wings his butt wouldn’t bounce off the ground. Oh well.

I trust Charlie Kirk to have the inside scoop. I am certain that President Trump forced Canada to become the 51st state of our great Union. He’s a great negotiator who has also extracted the 145% tariffs from all the G7 countries. I think it is about time that the G7 leaders learn to say thank you like the Kings of Qatar and Saudi Arabia who gave him billlion-dollar gifts for personal use.

It’s going to be a heck of a pivot when the DoJ chooses not to prosecute and/or pardon this radical they previously painted as a democrat, despite all available evidence.

Double-think, eat your own heart out.

Many of the adjectives Filipkowski applies to Trump are appropriate, but none capture the use of perverse incentives key to his chaos-bringing. Iranians, for example, have had to rally round their unpopular regime and today have good reasons to believe Israel would not have attacked if they already had a functioning bomb (and in fact they might). In the emerging transactional world, Trump’s message is everybody should acquire a few nukes, even Germany. This is absurd. Jonathan Schell long ago put the reasoning for a nuclear arms race to bed for good. Still, today we have a China building nuclear weapons as fast as possible and buying gold. Is this normal? Other perverse incentives bad policies include dismantlling the complex system of global supply and production chains, and even motivating saw mill owners to hope for lots of forest fires this summer (the timber salvage industry). Or relaxing of pollution rules to assure greater health risk and environmental degradation. Perhaps the strangest Bizarro World governance term is “hyperwar”, the AI induced societal collapse that happens in seconds. I don’t think there should be any perverse incentives for that.

I noticed that, also. I was at the Fort Myers demonstration when I heard about the shootings. My first look at the news, NBCNews.com, had names of the killed and wounded but no party affiliation. Like you, I had to dig deeper to find that information.

‘Ignorant president’: Trump brutally mocked after committing massive gaffe about Britain
President Donald Trump faced backlash Monday after suggesting the United Kingdom remains part of the European Union.

During a press briefing in Alberta, Canada, with British Prime Minister Kier Starmer, Trump remarked, “You all know the great PM of the UK, and we just signed a document.” He continued, “We just signed it, and so we have our trade agreement with the EU.”
Andrew Weinstein, a visiting fellow at the Institute for Democracy, wrote on the social platform X: “Does he know the UK left the EU more than 5 years ago.”

S.V. Dáte, White House correspondent at HuffPost, said: “If you were about to point out that the UK is no longer in the EU, that just proves you’re a globalist elitist. Real Americans are PROUD to have an ignorant president.”

Author Surowiecki wrote: “‘We have a trade agreement with the European Union.’” No, no you do not.”

“Imagine if Joe Biden had stood with the leader of another country to announce a trade deal, dropped his papers & named the wrong country (ies),” wrote a user.
The comment quickly circulated on social media, with many pointing out that the UK officially left the EU in 2020.

To be frank, the Middle East might gain greater stability if a “regime change” were imposed on Israel. Yes, my apologies … I’ll take it outside to the appropriate “room”…
