MAGA Looks to Notorious War On Terror Lawyer For Trump II Inspiration

Here, Attorney General Yoo. This is your order to torture the following people (hands him list), and the blank, signed pardons you can pass out to anyone who actually handles the tongs and blow-torches. Just fill in their names and the deets. Me, I’m good, thanks to my pal John Roberts.

I will, however, grill them and crush them between my teeth, and then dissolve their bodies in digestive juices, stealing their prescious essence to sustain my own life, and then ejecting whatever is left over in a mass of fetid, loathsome matter.

It has nothing to do with stupidity: it has everything to do with very much wanting to assimilate.

You have an immigrant family in any conservative area, that family is going to conform because they want to be seen as American. And any number of immigrants already come from conservative societies, so you know what’s “dumb”? Assuming they’re going to become a bunch of super liberal Democrats.

But hey, if you want to write them off for “flag waving” and being “dumb,” well, whatevs.

And yet I’ve seen plenty of comments admiring Liz Cheney for standing up to Trump, even though she also supports waterboarding detainees. For that reason alone, I’d never say a good word about her. Some things can’t be forgiven.

No! They are incredibly smart AND in communication with their alien relations who will reap vengeance when they return.

All hail our eight-armed overlords.

Absolutely! The daily outrages of the Bush jr. maladministration set the table for the dotardian reign of error. From Yoo’s “Unitary Executive” to Rove’s “People better watch what they’re saying” in criticizing the illegal invasion of Iraq it was a daily shitshow that ushered in wretched excesses of the abuse of power.

They needed not to have ever hired him. Why did they? Was it to prove that Berkeley Law was “diverse” and “inclusive,” to dispel the notion that Berkeley was a liberal hellhole?

I’m more worried about the “terrorist element” coming out in force if Trump loses the 2024 election.

I know it’s something of a cliche now but “every accusation is a confession” remains as accurate an interpretation of conservative assertions like this as it ever was.

An extension of the SCOTUS logic granting Trump immunity for ‘official acts’, now it appears Yoo would grant effective immunity to anyone running for high office (unless one must assume they were a Democrat or anyone else requiring “deterence.”)

The logic of ideological convenience is a Yoo trademark.

If you can’t identify the party that’s using your immigration status to drive hatred, and anger, and vitriol against you as a way of gaining access to the public purse, and in the name of a religion that spent 300 years justifying the enslavement of human beings and the sale of their children for profit, then I think you are as dumb as a rock.

I remember that Condi “mushroom clouds over Manhattan” Rice had to spend months with Jr. at the newly acquired “ranch”(All hat and no cattle) teaching him foreign policy, social etiquette and fav GOP domestic agendas after he was appointed to the office of POTUS by SCOTUS. Sandra Day O’conners legacy will always be her fifth vote to install the unqualified little bastard by stopping the counting of the vote in Florida. EBTDs was the precursor to ETTD.

A bit OT I would say…

CNN —

"The United States has seized Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro’s airplane after determining that its acquisition was in violation of US sanctions, among other criminal issues. The US flew the aircraft to Florida on Monday, according to two US officials.

It’s the latest development in what has long been a frosty relationship between the US and Venezuela, and its seizure in the Dominican Republic marks an escalation as the US continues to investigate what it regards as corrupt practices by Venezuela’s government.

The plane has been described by officials as Venezuela’s equivalent to Air Force One and it has been pictured in previous state visits by Maduro around the world.

“This sends a message all the way up to the top,” one of the US officials told CNN. “Seizing the foreign head of state’s plane is unheard-of for criminal matters. We’re sending a clear message here that no one is above the law, no one is above the reach of US sanctions.”

In a statement, Attorney General Merrick Garland said that “the Justice Department seized an aircraft we allege was illegally purchased for $13 million through a shell company and smuggled out of the United States for use by Nicolás Maduro and his cronies.”

The plane was purchased from a company in Florida, the Justice Department said, and was illegally exported in April 2023 from the United States to Venezuela through the Caribbean."
… … … … …
(((snicker))) snatching a head of state’s plane…

Wow! Your paragraph is a terrific example of how framing can influence perception of an event. Add an ominous soundtrack to make takoyaki a horror flick.

Tentacles, testicles, let’s call the whole thing off!!!
