The messaging is so wrong: Dem are pro-life, because we believe children should be fed, everyone should get a living wage and a roof over their head and have the right to have a say in their government via a vote. Also that everyone should treated with dignity and the planet as well.
Republicans are anti-life because they believe in none of that: women and children are chattels of men, oppression of others in the name of their own version of the invisible man in the sky is desirable, the weak are to be spit upon…. The list goes on. So,yeah, pro-death.

I just don’t understand how the entire ACLU isn’t defending doctors against this. Performing abortions is not an illegal act, and it was perfectly legal until a handful of assholes decided it shouldn’t be. Popular nullification needs to be a thing again in this country and the people on the side of sanity and morality need to start drowning out the idiots on the side of “the law.” After all, it was once a capitol crime to teach a black man to read, proof that what’s legal and what’s right are often two vert different things.

Ummmmm. Perhaps we need to work on coming to an agreement about the term “legal”, and how things get to be legal or illegal.
I mean, owning people as property was entirely legal in many parts of the country until one guy, just some random lawyer from Kentucky, via Illinois, said it wasn’t.
