I think you are on to something. Do you suppose we could get away with televising a fake Senate trial for like 18 months while the real Senate diligently passes Biden’s and the House’s progressive agenda with Republicans unable to cut into the media’s obsession and spread their bad faith arguments?
We’re going to use that video in every race, in every state, for every seat, every post, for the next several years to come. Against the entire Sedition Caucus, and, frankly, everyone still willing to call themselves a Republican. As Rick Wilson has explained: They bought the mother-humping ticket, now they get to take the mother-humping ride.
Burn every tree, rick, and cot. Salt the Earth. I will not be satisfied until W. T. Sherman rises from his grave and exclaims: “That’s a little harsh, guys.”
I love Billings, that’s our normal overnight spot on the way home from Edmonton. The drive down into town coming from the airport is so cool with that big cliff. I can’t recall ever finding Chinese food there, although we had a helluva time finding decent coffee on our way out of town the first time we stayed. The GPS told us there was a Starbucks (not really my definition of decent except when compared to hotel coffee) that ended up being a refinery of some sort.
Why not? Netflix just produced a 4-year reality tv special where they pretended that we actually elected a tv show personality. Even shamelessly stole plotlines from HBO like having the Covid zombies replacing the white walkers and the series finale mimicking the sacking of King’s Landing.
All while President Hillary plugged away at boring stuff.
You’re already seeing the wrap-up, where the mysterious covid is dropping by 30% in every 7-day rolling window, it’ll be gone by the end of March.
You weren’t there. We’ve long established that you’re a usurper pretending to be one of us, most likely some Russkie spy trying to infiltrate the Organization.
We often kid and joke here on the TPM boards, and sometimes we forget (sometimes I forget) that we all have our own very real pain and loss that we live with.
