Agree with this, only would backdate it to somewhere around 3 PM on the sixth, when Miller and Pence cut him out and his staff started making him film the first hostage video.
But then it’s not the impeachment, it’s the actual insurrection. So we kinda should be rewarding him for going over the line on the sixth, or it would have continued to get worse.

You know, except for that part where we make snap decisions to reduce polling places, require IDs for voting but then close all DMVs, require IDs for voting but then exclude IDs that our research says minorities are most likely to have, gerrymandering ourselves into unassailable forever-control minority-rules over states like WI, shorten polling times, take away mail-in and absentee-voting, deliberately underfund polling centers, fuck with the entire USPS to try to prevent ballots from arriving on time or at all, attack the legitimacy of the vote in an entirely selective manner designed to attack votes by minorities and votes by our opposition, file 60 frivolous lawsuits trying to overturn the election on baseless accusations and patently inadmissible hearsay affidavits after packing the courts and convincing ourselves that the judges will go along with our frivolous suits for partisan reasons, packing the SCOTUS, using a vast right wing propaganda network to push lies about the integrity of the lections process, but only when we lose and in areas where we lost, write new laws that take away the right to vote and give it to the state legislature we have safely gerrymandered into our control, pay for widespread disinformation robo-calling to confuse or frighten voters into losing their right to vote, etc.etc.etc.

If you can watch this nonsense and come away thinking anything other than “holy shit, we really do need to make every possible effort to destroy these people forever” then you really aren’t paying attention.
