After months of fighting it in court, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is set to testify on Thursday in the Georgia state investigation of Donald Trump’s interference in the 2020 election.
Can Linds get the Prosecutors to let him bring his fainting couch and smelling salts into the Grand Jury hearing room with him?
The only question is how many time Scarlett will invoke the 5th.
I bet he tries to argue that it was legislative business and covered by the Speech and Debate Clause. What a putz.

In his mind, Lindsey’s oath to perpetuate Trump’s lies and his own lies supersedes his oath to the U.S. Constitution because of “reasons…”
No, and he can’t even have his attorney by his side. When you testify before a grand jury your attorney waits out in the hall.
Now that the GOP is dumping drump maybe he will have more candor but I doubt it.
Given that he’s already been noped on that by the courts, trying that now would be contempt of court.
Won’t matter what they want to know. He won’t tell them anything. It’s just who he is.

I don’t know about them but I want to know where he gets off meddling in another state’s elections? That has nothing to do with speech and debate or his role as a senator from SC. No wonder he is fighting this so hard. What a fucking tool.
There are several things going on in the Post Election period. For Democrats they include shoring up the Senate by returning Raphael Warnock to the Senate…they also include a strategy for dealing with Republicans in the House in a way in which Biden’s agenda is made more likely to succeed.
But they also include the Rule of Law being asserted…as slippery a customer as Graham is, he is going to play a part.
Prosecutors wanna know how he spells his name, his shoe size, how the weather is today, what he ate for breakfast… you know, important stuff.
