Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) wanted to make a big show of honoring the late, racist shock jock Rush Limbaugh after Limbaugh died last week at 70. By Wednesday, that plan had fallen to pieces as it became clear DeSantis’ subjects weren’t too thrilled about the idea.
I bet Rush wishes he were alive so he could screech about this.

I like how the agriculture commissioner used the term “bend over backwards” which is a subtle dig at Limbaugh. He used to constantly use the term “bend over and grab their ankles” when referring to some folks perceived to be soft or wimpy and caring in to opposition. Like much of his stick it was also a homophobic dig. Well played commissioner, I hope that she runs for governor.

Q says Rush is going to rise again, probably on March 4th, when Trump is inaugurated as the 19th president. And, if that date doesn’t work out, there will be others.
