COVID-19 isn’t the name of the virus, it’s the name of the DISEASE you get from the virus (like you get AIDS from HIV). And it’s not the “nineteenth one”, COVID stands for “Coronavirus disease 2019” which is caused by the SARS-CoV-2 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome CoronaVirus 2) virus.
