OK, I share the unfortunate opinion that he will become speaker. But then what? Besides all of us being subjected to his horrible persona all over the media, I can’t imagine that he’s going to come off very well to the general public, and God knows they’re not going to pass anything.

I’m surprised Jordan isn’t already Speaker. He’s the quintessential Republican for today. The entire party is no more than one standard deviation from him in terms of temperament, vileness and stupidity. And that includes their voters. All of them.
And I say this knowing full well that include quite a number of people who were my friends.
