Legal Experts Blast Trump Lawyer For Saying Krebs Should Be ‘Taken Out And Shot’ | Talking Points Memo

Trump campaign lawyer Joe DiGenova is coming under fire from the legal community following his incendiary remark on Monday saying that Chris Krebs — the cybersecurity official who was fired by President Trump after assuring the public that the 2020 election was secure — should be “taken out at dawn and shot.”

In the Land of Make Believe (FOX) this works like a charm.

I filed this complaint with the DC Bar’s Office of Disciplinary Counsel tonight. You can file a complaint as well, if you have any concerns with the behavior of any of their members.

DiGenova used to be respected. That seems eons ago now. He should be ashamed of himself & lawyers everywhere (anyone everywhere) should condemn his comments. I faced death threats. Had 24/7 armed security. This is despicable what he has likely subjected a career official to. https://twitter.com/FrankFigliuzzi1/status/1333586214029385728

No joke.

Unlike DiGenova himself.

Once the Reality World takes ascendance, these things will become less normal.

  1. Not a real lawyer. Simply plays one on Reality TV and so preferred by a Reality-TV President.
  2. Such work pays better and is easier than real lawyering. You just scream on tv and make shit up.
  3. Plus his wife is the same thing in a dress, so they can bill twice as much in their grift. She shrieks; he howls. It is a substitute for their sex life.

I’ve been studiously ignoring all that but, honestly, if you’re going to “publish” a thousand tweets for all the world to like, then it’s a bit silly to try deleting them all when they prove to be … excessively candid?

Anyway, while I have my own doubts about Ms. Tanden, nothing to do with “mean” things she said about Republicans, the question is what she would bring to the OMB. By any chance will it be … candor?

Just add some medieval torture why don’t you?

I think he had that covered:

“He should be drawn and quartered. Taken out at dawn and shot.”

Surely you have a keyboard shortcut set up for this phrase.

It is like these people are oblivious to the tweets coming out of the Oval Office and from all the henchmen who think that Orangeman is the second coming.
What they do not like…besides that she is a female and not aryan…is that she just might come somewhat close to being as liberal as all of their appointees are tea bagger rightwing

Not sure about DiGenova but I know his wife has long been pro-choice.

(Doesn’t mean she’s a good lawyer!)
