Lawsuit Alleges What Victims Of DeSantis’ Sham Election Crimes Force Suspected – They Were Pawns For His 2024 Bid

As Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) readies his impending presidential run, he’s built a brand largely off of former president Donald Trump’s: appearing “tough on crime” and making noise about election security.

I hope this also blows up in his stupid face.

My response to this craven power seeking politician is …
ASSHAT SEZ WUT??
Here’s a guy who says Florida’s election system is robust and set up to catch irregularities. He said so in 2021. So now he needs a special office to root out fraud that he said does not exist?

Unfortunately, this law has already done what DeSantis wanted it to do - make 1.4 million citizens (probably majority POC and likely Democrats) chary of voting along with an untold number of additional citizens in heavily black districts. Note that none of the verified Republicans from the Villages that voted twice have been trotted out in front of the Press as part of DeSantis’ voter fraud road show.

It’s like entrapment, only you don’t really know why you’re being entrapped.

Ron “White Go Go Boots” DeSantis doesn’t seem to know it yet, but he will NEVER be President of the United States.

So what’s the status on having to pay the state for the fines and court costs that the FL lege added? Has the state or counties even created a way for someone to know if their “cost to society” has been paid in full?
Not to mention that SoS Cord Byrd terminated the state’s ERIC membership in March of 2023. So how will the registrars check new FL residents if there are so few people assigned to do the job?

@ClutchCargo
Are you two implying that Ron will that small planet eaten by the dying sun-Turmp, that astronomers have observed in another galaxy?

That still pisses me off. I wonder how many of those golf cart patriots voted twice. Is there no media effort to expose the privileged villagers cheating?

He will have had it coming!

Several of them admitted to voting twice. I believe they got a slap on the wrist and were told not to do it again. No other repercussions that I know of.

ETA there are some folks wearing some crazy outfits that make Kirstin Sinema look dowdy and conservative.

Who invited her? Did you get an invite Ralph? Not me.

I did not. And if if I had, I wouldn’t go. I’m not anti-monarchy, I really don’t care except insofar as I can mock the A-listers.

Speaking of Kristen Sinema. I’ll bet she’s eating her heart out right now.

I think this aptly describes Bootsie McBootface and predicts his future, independent of the festering orange buttboil.

I think he’s learning. Expect him to say, “No, I never declared myself a candidate,” when he’s complete and utter toast.

The Votjng Fraud commission has to make the same determination that the Elections officials had to make: did this former felon meet the complex and confusing requirements to legally register to vote. DeSantis didn’t bother to adequately fund the Elections officials — people who would help citizens do the right thing, but he found the money to do the same review and determination for the purpose of arresting and jailing citizens.

This is so typical. Be tough on cheats, crime, minor deviations from “normal”, and Republicans will hammer you. Hold out a helping hand? Sorry, their hands are too busy folded in prayer, which is why they are such good Christians.
