Agree with general concerns about the optics of them getting the response of the fence, only thing that I might say is to think back to the days before the inauguration, when they shut down just about every bridge into D.C. from the Virginia side. They must have had something quite credible and specific as a threat to take that step, so I’m guessing similar thing here.

Someone in my neighborhood was telling me just after the 2020 election that he saw in a couple areas young Latino and South Asian men who were Trump AOC voters. Talk about crossover voting. Will the Green new deal build the wall?

The point is that a majority of the white majority didn’t use to make these distinctions treating everybody with a given skin tone more or less the same regardless of what culture they came from.
The similarities arose not because of where they came from but from being treated in similar fashions here.

A competent individual who not only understands the above but also the nature of race relations on both sides of the Border would be vital. And that is just scratching the surface. Economics (including variations by location, nationality) would require an academic-paper level “post”.
Then there are the actual on the ground needs of people in different localities here.
There was a Latina guest on Lawrence O’Donnell’s show last night and she emphasized what the people on the ground the Dems are talking to would benefit from.

The linked website claims that unspecified “statistical analysis used to detect fraud in elections held in 3rd-world nations” have detected fraud “resulting in Governor Gavin Newsom being reinstated as governor.”
Notice their generous use of Orwellian language - “resulting in Governor Gavin Newsom being reinstated as governor.”
Reinstated? This is entirely intentional. He’s not being “reinstated” because he is the governor, and has been the governor all along. But the message to the ignorant unwashed is that Newsom is illegitimate, is not the governor and is secretly being “installed” by a powerful cabal. This is evil, pure destabilizing evil.
