Kinzinger Says GOPers Who Join Nativist Caucus Should Be Stripped Of Committees | Talking Points Memo

The Republican Party is still the party of Lincoln. Sadly, it is not the party of Abraham Lincoln. More like Lincoln Rockwell.

Ahh, don’t you just love when one group of believers in an unseen gawd and a laundry list of mumbo-jumbo, decries other groups of believer’s unseen gawds and claptrap. “only our version of nonsense is true, all others must die!”

I shouldn’t have laughed at your comment. I thought I was better than that.

I guess that I’m not.

We can aspire towards many things, and I think that “as I’ve grown older I am a lot less judgmental” is one of the finer of those many things.

ETA: Clearly my comment directly above this comment is not an example of my being “a lot less judgmental”. I’m still working on it.

Republicans haven’t been the “Party of Lincoln” since they were taken over by the Dixiecrats in the Civil Rights Era. They are the polar opposite. That hasn’t stopped them from trying to claim association with Lincoln with efforts at UCB as Trump’s interview sitting at Lincoln’s feet at the Memorial, but actions speak louder than words and their every action shows otherwise. Today’s Democrats, if anyone, are the “Party of Lincoln”, based on their inclusionary practices.

Myself, I don’t think we’re genuflecting by reporting a gopper calling them out, even if it’s trolling us or expressing his disgust with Greene et all or wishing for a Unicorn or whatever.

Hearing a conservative voice is fine so far as it goes conservative and not fascist, racist aholes like Greene and Goshar and Gaetz and Gohmert, other, shunning and defeating and taking their lunch money is for them.

Was blissfully unaware of her yesterday; this morning I see a headline that explains it all. I wish shouting helped people understand where they’ve gone awry because I would be glad to bellow it in her face: SHARIA LAW IS NOT A THING IN THE UNITED STATES. IT JUST ISN’T.

While we can’t prevent someone from calling themselves Republican, we can loudly say they don’t belong to us.

Name one.

Using her father’s death to deflect from her racism and idiocy. Yeah, she’s a Republican, alright.

The one feral guy we are left with is a loudmouth. And always demanding at the wrong time. He is very well awsre of when he’s supposed to get his goo in his ear for his thyroid condition. Because it means a stroke and “hands on” which he has found isn’t nearly as bad as he thought. And it also means a spoonful of wet food.

Who taught this woman to be so damn mean spirited?
Parents?
Other politicians?
Acquaintences?
Teachers?
She is one seriously twisted person. Sorry abput her dad but sheesh!

I suspect her father taught her how to be so mean.

Payback is a bitch! And that’s MTG.

I believe this woman is invigorated by angering people.
And portraying herself as someone who has attained something (fill in the blanks) that those she is trying to anger “will never have”.

She could hire an aeroplane with the message flag stating, “Eat your heart out __________”

Or behave the way she is presently behaving.

If she remains untreated, she will get worse as she grows older.

Neville had the same treatment for his thyroid condition. He also had something akin it IBS. So I had his medication for that made at a compounding pharmacy. It was liquid and I would squirt the dose on his wet food. But towards the end, starting about 6 months ago he stopped eating his wet food and solely wanted his dry food. So I learned to squirt it in his mouth. And since he was older and less active that worked well. Wouldn’t have worked when he was younger and faster.

I cannot imagine her constituents appreciate her being their representative.

I can’t see it either but there are parts of Georgia that make “red” as in the red of the GOP look like the red of seriously liberal socialist commies. That’s how far rightward they are. Her district is west and north of Atlanta. They voted for her. She reflects them.
I have a cousin who lives east of Atlanta in Athens which is a “Liberal bastion” as that’s where the U of Georgia is. And we all know (don’t we sez this old prof) that universities are full a them pinko types. An facts have that liberal bias.

They really do.

Those who voted for her, I mean.

So I’m just wondering if people in these rural congressional districts really need faster broadband. With the amount of misinformation, Russian targeted misinformation, what will these idiots like when they surf the web as fast as they like? And by giving them faster broadband what will happen to their AM hate jockeys?
