I saw Kilmeade once, walking through Times Square with a back pack over his suit. His eyes were on a swivel. He caught me catching him from a half-block away.

Well Nixon worked really hard to poach all the conservative racists, but I do agree the GOP should forfeit those voters immediately.
The GOP has become the party of Tucker Carlson. At least Forrest had physical courage, the chickenhawks of today are just bullies.

Hey Brian, the Republican Party has been the official party for racist and white supremest since the 1960’s at least. Why would African Americans support a racist political party?
The only consistency with the Republicans for the last 40 years and therefore the only reason to be a Republican is White nationalism. I offer a couple of examples.
When living in New Orleans in 1984 and traveling much of the state I learned that to a person, man and woman, the White people of Louisiana thought Reagan was screwing them but they loved Reagan because “Reagan is screwing Black people worse”. Actually, that is not a direct quote because they never used the term “Black people”.
The only reason to have supported George W “I always do well in the South because they share my values” Bush and now support Donald "George W Bush lied America into a disastrous war in Iraq (2/13/2016 and many time afterwards) Trump is White nationalism and not many Black people support White nationalism.
It sounds like he is coming close to understanding the Southern Strategy. Better give him a few days off.
Well, I suppose that it used to be. But there is absolutely no denying that the Republican party is now the party of the KKK and that they have embraced it warmly.
