Suddenly a Republican cares about competence? Unpossible.

Don’t you think you ought to check on that? You’re the secretary,”

He’s the acting secretary so he only has to act like he knows whats going on.

Mr Wolf went on to say “Senator, my job is to jail toddlers and keep brown people out of 'merica…that’s all Donny Dumbshit told me to do”

But Larry Kudlow says all is well. Don’t worry. Be happy. Kennedy knows that this sort of disaster will be on Republicans.

Suddenly Kennedy reveals himself as a pretty bright guy who’s willing now and then to do his fucking job. Good to know that fancy education wasn’t entirely wasted on him.

Sure go ahead and pretend like you have a spine John. Trump, and everyone else, knows better.

Does he understand that Wolf was nominated by the guy he just set free…Trump? Too little, too late.

Are you sure you’re not jumping the gun on that assessment?

Translation: Screw the people! Is the money okay?

That’s never a good sign! But Kudlow is probably afraid of the Dow tumbling a few more thousand points. Someone’s gonna have to get fired for that – too soon to blame it on Bernie.

He’s highly educated. He just keeps it well hidden in the Trump era, that’s for goddamn sure.

Pardon my cynicism, but think he’s probably more worried about how this might affect the stock market. And, it’s very obvious that’s what the criminal in chief is worried about.

I yield to nobody in the cynicism department, was famous for it when I was younger, but I think it’s entirely possible that beyond a stock-market downturn, Kennedy is concerned that if this administration completely screws up a natural disaster on the mainland, the GOP is going to hear about it at the polls. They’re clearly not prepared for this and have heard from the top that the plan is to pretend everything’s fine and hope for the best. Kennedy seems to feel that’s not good enough.

Maybe Kennedy ought to have a sit down with the guy that’s in charge of everything. Article II powers mean he can just make shit up.

As we face a potential pandemic, the Trump administration's public statements are COMPLETELY INCOHERENT

Only if the Dems make it about Trump. Which they should do, loudly and often. Warning the nation about how Trump has gutted our ability to respond to an imminent pandemic is both true and politically advantageous. He’s not just working to take away people’s health care, he’s putting people’s actual lives at risk.
