If this is applied toward Ms. Willis, then Governor Kemp is VERY weak on crime.

Here in Mo, and specifically in St. Louis County the Republican controlled legislature and MO AG got what they wanted last night. Kim Gardner St. Louis Circuit Attorney resigned. She was the first Black St. Louis County Circuit Attorney elected to that position.
When the Republicans decried her lack of controlling crime in the county they failed to take their own legislative actions into account. The legislature, controlled by Republicans were the ones that did away with any checks on people buying and owning guns. They did away with checks, permits, and so it’s guns everywhere being carried by anybody.
I voted for Kim Gardner but she only has so many staff and hours in the day to deal with gun crimes, and other crimes that the state legislature allowed to increase.
FFS if San Francisco could recall a “progressive” DA I’m sure Gonzalez’s constituents could do the same.
There are mechanism already in place no law needed.
