Kellyanne Conway Compares Census Citizenship Question To Asking About Toilets

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway compared the inclusion of a question about a person’s citizenship on the U.S. census to the government asking about the number of running toilets a person has in their home, arguing the toilet question was actually “more intrusive” than citizenship.

Equating citizenship to working toilets? I suppose that makes sense when you have shit for brains, constantly spew crap and work for the biggest turd on the planet.

It must be repeated that not only is everyone in this administration stupid and corrupt, but they’re a bunch of weirdos on top of it

“Why can’t we just ask the question the way it was asked for 50 years before the Obama administration yanked it out of there?” she said”

Why can’t she stop making shit up?

Well then it’s a serious question, in 2010 wingnuts got all bent out of shape and even threatened to shoot census workers…

“This is crazy,” Erickson said last week on WMAC’s In the Morning with Erick Erickson of the census. “What gives the Commerce Department the right to ask me how often I flush my toilet? Or about going to work? I’m not filling out this form. I dare them to try and come throw me in jail. I dare them to. Pull out my wife’s shotgun and see how that little ACS twerp likes being scared at the door"

Why should we care about Conway’s discussion with Fox news cheerleaders?

This is not news.

Obama didn’t remove the citizenship question. I remember reading it was last used in the 1950 census. These people have never taken a History or poli sci class, or read a history book. Bizarro world indeed.

The problem isn’t that the census question is intrusive, but that it will scare people away from participating; which is the entire purpose. It’s truly frustrating to deal with people who have weaponized ignorance. They say things that are intentionally stupid to waste everyone’s time and win whether we respond or not.

If it is that simple Kellyanne why did your Leader have his people lie in the court case on why the question is necessary? It could be that Republicans want to use the results to rig the political system or it could be that Little Donnie Short Fingers simply can not stop lying. Or it could be both.

ahh, Conway has braved the tough environs of fox and friends to answer the hard questions.

Interesting to bring up toilets. How are the drinking fountains in the children’s holding facilities at the border, dimbulb?

Conway again saying Obama’s fault, well she needs a history lesson.

It’s been close to 70 years since a citizenship question has been included among the census questions for every U.S. household.

In fact, the U.S. census has never before directly asked for the citizenship status of every person living in every household.

As usual Ms. Conway is confused. The short census form is for counting or as the constitution states plainly enumeration of all of the persons in the country. The American Community Survey is for the interesting micro stuff in American life ie how many people have plumbing and how long their commute is.
Every corporation and not for profit needs to be vocal about the importance of a accurate census and the Trump administrations attempt to whitewash it. The chamber of commerce types seem awfully mute compared to when they would decry some regulation.
Many issued statements before the case was argued but ought to be calling this out because they know from history without solid census data it makes it more difficult to conduct business.
And where are those constitutional texturalists and originalists? All persons and enumerate are as plain meaning as you can get.

Republithugs should drop the pretense. Voter suppression, gerrymandering, Fascism. It’s an existential thing. They are desperately fighting the demographics trends working against them. They are putting party ahead of country. This will not turn out well.
