Kansas Police Chief Says Cop Lied About Receiving Expletive-Covered McDonalds Cup

Kansas’ Herington Police Chief Brian Hornaday said on Monday evening that one of his officers admitted he himself wrote “fucking pig” on his own McDonald’s cup, not a McDonald’s employee as he originally claimed on Saturday.

Cop wrote his autobiography on the cup?

The unidentified officer said the incident was “meant to be a joke,” said Hornaday, who declined to name the officer “due to the matter being a personnel issue.”

A joke like this asshole’s police career.

Reminds me of the time I was called for jury duty. During voir dire, the prosecutor asked all potential jurors whether they would credit the word of the arresting police officer over the defendant (yes, that was the exact question), to which I replied “I don’t see why the officer should be regarded as more credible, there would need to be corroboration.” I was dismissed from the jury.

When the President of the United States lies repeatedly and without any shame and, when caught in inappropriate and compromising situations, calls it all “a joke,” this is what we get.

… one of his officers admitted he himself wrote “fucking pig” on his own McDonald’s cup…

Was it written in black Sharpie?

I’m sure that Fox will issue a prompt and prominent retraction.

Well, to be fair-- the ‘spilled 180-190° liquid on my crotch’ McDonald’s lawsuit was no longer in play.

A McDonald’s employee’s job was in jeopardy over this “joke.”

The real story is that a rookie cop texted the chief the photo as a joke. And the chief immediately posted it on Facebook saying it was a dark day blah blah blah. Then the chief found out it was a joke and fired the rookie cop. Horrible joke, yes, but the one who caused all the trouble was the chief. The rookie cop didn’t file a report or anything, this was all about the chief embarrassing himself on Facebook.

Asshole.

Exactly. And if store footage hadn’t explicitly disproved the original allegation, a libeled employee would be out of work.

Gee, that’s fucking hilarious, isn’t it? What a great joke.

Herington, Kansas Police Chief Brian Hornaday said on Monday evening that one of his officers admitted he himself wrote “fucking pig” on his own McDonald’s cup, not a McDonald’s employee as he originally claimed on Saturday.

…but not before every RWNJ shared the officer’s first version of the story on social media and right wing websites to rile up fellow Trumpsters.

Prediction: The cop will have a job with another podunk police force in a week. Having him remain unnamed will only assist him in his job search.

Another job in Herington KS (pop 2,332) might be difficult to find.
The accused McDonald’s employee likely went through much trauma-- thanks to this ‘joke’.

In the “original” case, the coffee was from 180 to 190 degrees, hot enough to do serious damage.

Cop-ycat criminal.

And the police chief who published this garbage in the first place should absolutely lose his job so he can spend more time contemplating just how oppressed he and his ilk really are.
