Also, when you do sell your soul to the devil you have to scrutinize the fine print of the contract to make sure you actually get paid! I think J.D. Vance is on course to merely become ‘Ted Cruz II’ in the Senate.
“You don’t win elections to bank political capital — you win elections to burn political capital and improve lives."
~~Tim Walz
Which is a nice way of saying that Vance is a creepy SOB.
That Andy!!!
I hear he was an absolute stand out in the swimsuit portion of the competition as well.

Best pick of the 3 ‘finalists.’ No one wants to deal with possibly losing a Senate seat in Arizona and Shapiro would have nuked all the energy we’re seeing from young voters.
Not only that, they (Harris and Shapiro) would’ve both been knocked as “urban elites.” Shapiro will still bring in PA.
Just back from a WaPo comment section. Thankfully, I haven’t showered yet today. So far, looks like the RWNJs are thrilled by Walz, because he maybe had a DUI, and he’s a communist who “let Minnesota burn” in the Great BLM Uppity Uprising.
I guess if you believe in the American Carnage version of the U.S., you still won’t be voting Democratic.

Huh…new meaning to Pink Floyd?

When future novelists or screenwriters need a real-life example of someone who has ‘sold his soul to the devil’, all they have to do is to study J.D. Vance.
Try googling “soul sellers” and his picture may come up, but probably below that one of Lindsay Graham, who has been at it for far longer.
Walz can waltz, and Vance can’t dance.

Kennedy was driving to a falconry outing in upstate New York
It’s just these sorts of moments where a politician shows they are deeply in touch with us common folks.
Yes, rough around the edges. Not slick and smoothed over like some politicians.

The contrast between JD Vance and Tim Walz is definitely something everyone needs to be well aware of.
What’s the status of the VP debate? Is there a set date and format? Will be wild?

”He doesn’t quite shed that “old guy” image”
Perhaps that’s what Harris was going for. Down home guy who can connect with people like older independent voters. Not an elite. If Walz was so successful with his jab at the Republican ticket, calling them weird, I’m sure he has more of that sort of thing up his sleeve. Seen as a good pick by Congresswoman Jayapal and the progressive caucus as well. Between Walz as the pick, and Shapiro’s endorsement, I think it will play well in Pennsylvania.

charming folksiness
As well as Buttigieg-level deft directness when answering questions.
I was somewhat dreading a Shapiro pick - this is awesome
Methinks the Walz are starting to close in on the Orange Shitgibbon and Team MAGA…
Yes, Brown has it too.
