House Judiciary Republicans plan to take a different approach to impeachment proceedings this week, ditching the conspiracy-laced tactics followed by House Intelligence Committee ranking member Devin Nunes (R-CA).

None of this is about the rule of law, the scope of presidential powers, or even the health (or lack thereof) of our Democracy, all this is about for Republicans is winning a fight against Democrats or better yet not losing a fight to wimpy baby-killing gun-hating Godless Liberals.
But the Nunes approach was working so well. He just seems to have a Midas touch with these things. Still, I suppose they know what they’re doing. 
Dems should be prepared to shut down these tactics immediately and with steely resolve. Brook no quarter.
That’s why I believe that the casual nature with which this is discussed is tantamount to a headline stating:
“Rwandans…Who gets the Win?”

In a whiplash display of ‘political maneuvering’ House Republicans announce they will strip naked, paint their bodies with crude oil and fling poo at Democrats and the press corps for the entirety of the judiciary committee hearing.

Those GOP puked are actively denying reality. The evidence shows epic breaking of dozens of laws by trump himself not to mention those around him.
Actually I do know that. But more and more they do what they do, and they make themselves look like crazy people in the process, and then Election Day comes and the voters give them a hell of a spanking and still they keep on.
Semantics are (is?) what people remember about Bill Clinton’s defense, too. And he got off, as it were.
What we need is an anger translator!
Turley aside, I hope the attorneys selected, along with Dem Counsel doing questioning, can educate people and place the GOP in a public posture doing Howdy Doody alongside of Shakespeare.
Nadler should–if things go correctly–be similar to a card player holding a good hand.
With luck, Collins and Co. will be seen for what they are.
But they liked Bill pretty well and didn’t think the impeachment was justified. I don’t think “There is no sex” was what saved his presidency. : )
