Senate Judiciary Committee Democrats on Thursday called on Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-SC) to investigate the involvement of senior Justice Department officials in watering down Roger Stone’s proposed prison sentence.
Never mind seeking the help of Graham. He has sold his soul to the devil–oops, Trump.
The Democrats need to get tougher.
They need to ask Graham (and Trump, by implication) if he thinks it’s OK to lie with your hand on the Bible. Put THAT in your letter. Let THAT be the talking point.
What should be the punishment for lying with your hand on the Bible, under oath? That was what Stone was convicted of, among other things.

The only probe that Graham will conduct is his nose up Donnie’s derriere.
Lindsey does not have grand kids, he has grand delusions.
He looks like he’s been crying (and drinking) because he’s seen the overseas video that Trump has of him, committing crimes.
Trump should demand NATO investigate the tainted Nobel jury pool that keeps denying him his prize.

Weaponizing investigations seems to be the Republican thing this month.

The message is being sent: If you are on a jury involving Trump, a powerful GOPer or other person they consider important, you better fucking acquit or your entire life will be ruined and you’ll be receiving death threats all day long for the rest of your life.
Something like this would be a good way to raise the national profile of the threat level. It’s blinking bright red, but you wouldn’t necessarily know it from the national medi. Frame the election as a choice between constitutional order, or the dictatorship of mad Donnie. Ds could use PR to link this to voter reg drives and GOTV volunteer efforts.
And doing so is entirely likely to push mad Donnnie to get madder, and madder, which helps in down-ballot House Senate etc races.
