Judge Savages Kacsmaryk Ruling While Siding With Maker Of Generic Mifepristone

A federal judge has denied an attempt by Republican officials in West Virginia to pause a maker of mifepristone’s lawsuit against them Friday, taking the opportunity to thoroughly rinse his colleague in Texas, U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk.

The “anti-fetus justices” are restless.

Now this is the kind of Friday afternoon news dump I can get behind.

Judge Kasmaryck, meet Judge Cannon. You make a wonderful couple. And you’ve brought so much attention to your little one-judge enclaves of the federal judiciary. To paraphrase the old blues lyric, “if it wasn’t for judge-shopping, you’d have no work at all.”

Me too. They’ll figure out a way to cut the baby in half and piss off everybody, which Roberts will then claim that it’s proof that they’re doing a good job.

Open warfare amongst the Federal Judiciary.

It seems that the real judges have had more than enough of the Trump judges.

How do you say ‘pass the popcorn’ in Latin Legalize?

He then slipped in some extremely pointed criticism, writing that Kacsmaryk’s decision “has been met with broad criticism from legal commentators. Therefore, the Court accords that opinion little weight.”

A pity Kacsmaryk’s incapacity for shame makes his consequent resignation unlikely.

I’ve been wondering if the judge who thinks he’s qualified to overrule the scientists at the FDA has even taken a biology class since high school.

He probably defaulted to earth science in high school.

Speaking of dumps, is not the Supreme Court suppose to dump on us sometime today?

A pity [insert Republican’s name here] incapacity for shame makes his [or her] consequent resignation unlikely.

Is there such a thing as disbenchment? Cuz, that should be a thing.

Assuming that the Evil Supremes will further revoke women’s autonomy, I hope they don’t jump the line to grab Kacsmaryk’s case. Would be great to have many more judicial rulings like this on the books before they create another new original-intent.

I suspect he’d have found the geological history part challenging: “So, where is the layer of mud left behind when the Flood receded,” for starts.
