A federal judge didn’t hold back in recounting the Trump administration’s sketchy behavior in the case challenging its decision to rush the 2020 census.
The Republican Party’s years long touting themselves as the party of Law and Order is dead, has been dead for a long time, and will remain dead as long as the existing jack booted thugs are anywhere near the seat of power. They are God damned liars.

To be fair, let’s not get distracted: they were never the party of “law and order.” “Law and order” is and always has been nothing but a giant racist dogwhistle foghorn coming from them.
If not for racism they’d have no policy at all.
It would be interesting to try and play out a scenario where they got their heart’s desire and all the black, brown, and yellow people were swept out of the country. Then what would be their new thing that they fight for?

Before 2016, the GOP Base was catered to, pre Nomination, then pivoted out of relevance when the POTUS candidate turns more to the Center.
HuffPo had a number of headlines in 2016 which said:
