Judge Ridicules Trump Lawsuit As Yet Another Grievance Manifesto

A South Florida federal judge (not that one) on Friday dismissed a complaint filed earlier this year from President Trump in which he accused everyone who had offended him during his political career of wrongdoing.

It’d be absolutely delicious for those who constantly complain about “frivolous lawsuits” to find themselves on the receiving end of their own, well-aimed boomerang!!?!

Middlebrooks also wrote that Trump had opened himself up to potential sanctions for filing the complaint.

Those may be monetary, or have to do with orders related to the attorneys who filed the case’s professional standing.

ETA: Frist!? :man_shrugging:

he is seeking to flaunt a two hundred-page political manifesto outlining his grievances against those that have opposed him, and this Court is not the appropriate forum

Well, with the Unabomber, The New York Times and Washington Post published the manifesto in the hope that someone will recognize the person. We know who wrote Trump’s screed, so why give a known terrorist a forum at all?

The decision is quite scathing and the judge is not a happy camper. Sanctions should be coming.

Has Trump ever won a case other than one before a judge he appointed?

A person in my homeowner’s association did the same thing when he filed a defamation of character charge against anybody and everybody who he considered against him. When you make a laundry list of targets and you lose, all those attorney fees add up. He lost almost a million dollars in his foolishness, not a wise move for a retiree.

Litigants can be barred from initiating litigation without a court’s prior approval. One District Court judge can’t do that for the entire federal judiciary, but barring Trump from further litigation in this district would be a start, and would send a message. That, and sanctions for the lawyers on the complaint.

Russia…shit.

Baby Trump was definitely in cahoots with Russia. He met an agent of Putin’s in his office in Trump tower.

Flynn was indicted for lying about his contacts with Russia.

The Mueller investigation documented near 80 contacts between Trump staffers and Russia.

Wiki Leaks served as a middle man between Russia and the Trump Campaign.

The the most damning evidence against Trump and his Russia connections is how much effort he puts into denying them.

Well there was that one in Detroit where his election observers were allowed to get six feet away from the people handling the ballots. Victory!
