Donald Trump was aggravated by his lawyer’s advice that he not appear in person during the last E. Jean Carroll trial — so much so that he is attending this week’s trial to determine damages in the second case in which he was found to have defamed the writer, and may even testify, ABC New reported.
Time to stop threatening. Time to start doing. He’s no longer president. Treat him like any other defendent. If he causes disruption in the courtroom, ask that he be escorted out, hold him in contempt, have the bailiff cuff him and arrest him if it gets further out of hand. Endless indulgement of Trump is what caused all this in the first place. Enough.
It’s always about dominance. He can’t not have the last word. Anything he’s accused of, he’s innocent of and by the way, you’re guilty of it, not him. He’s a child. He should be treated as such.
Anyone know whether Joey Tacopina ever got paid. Is Alina Habba getting paid for her legal services? Or is she simply doing Skanky, the Family, and the Organization a favor?
Taking a rapist to court is extremely traumatic for the victim. According to HHS stats, only about 6% of rapists ever serve a day in jail and the person raped suffers immeasurably through the process. E. Jean Carroll is courageous and a role model.
I’ve been wondering why contempt hasn’t been pushed yet. On the other hand, the Bailiff could be instructed to take TIFG to another room with closed circuit so he can still see but not disrupt the proceedings.
In the X Spaces forum, which also included billionaire X owner Elon Musk, Phillips floated the idea of cabinet positions for Ackman, Musk and angel investor and podcast host Jason Calacanis, with Phillips saying that if elected he would nominate the “best, the most extraordinary bipartisan cabinet in American history” that could include people “on this Spaces right now.”
“No nonsense”??I see plenty of “nonsense” going on.
I was in a courtroom, waiting my turn, several years back when a man was brought up before the judge. After he’d spoken briefly, the judge asked him “Are you high?” And then proceeded to ream him out about daring to come into her courtroom under the influence.
Then she had the bailiff take him to a holding cell where he could cool his heels for three days, and then return to court for his hearing.
Why can’t any judge do that? Put Loudmouth Louie behind bars? Money means nothing to him; his deluded minions will flood him with billions. Gag orders do not silence. So how about a turn in solitary?
