Easiest decision ever.

ETA: And this was a Trump appointee. I don’t know anything about this guy in particular, but he absolutely hammered these defendants’ nonsense right out of the ballpark.

Excellent. Hit them where it hurts (said the pacifist).

Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch. Only regret is that it will take too long to affect the next cycle.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer conspiracy…

Can we get Beavis and Butthead in on this as well?

Speaking of voter fraud and voting machines…holy shit

This is great news for Mike Lindell, Rudy Flatula 911 and Sydney Powell. This is a big win.

They will get an opportunity to speak the truth and present evidence that Skanky Groper should be President and that his sleazy silicone stuffed lust object Iwanker should be the First Lady of the Lincoln Bedroom.

Eh, I think that’s a good thing. I want as many Trumpers as possible believing the vote is all rigged against them and that there’s absolutely no point in bothering to vote.

This is in Colorado, just in case anyone (like me) sees the word Mesa and thinks Arizona

… Byrne told TPM, “Between Maricopa’s Audit and Lindell’s work in South Dakota, Dominion is haviong [ sic ] a tough week, and this is their effort to divert attention.”

So, Byrne’s telling us Dominion has mastered prognostication.
He should just sit down and write the check: if Dominion can foresee its need for a distraction months before filing suit, they can just as surely foretell that they’ll prevail in that suit.

There’s much, much more stupid to this than that article lets on:
There’s a credible investigation into vote tampering – and the suspect is a Trump-loving Colorado county clerk: report

In the video, the alleged whistleblower included an image of their election system’s BIOS password, and in doing so "they stepped on a pretty large rake – because the password in the video was unique, which allowed the Colorado Secretary of State’s office to identify which county the leak came from and during

which meeting it was recorded," Miller writes.

Colorado county clerk freaks out at Mike Lindell’s symposium after state asks for evidence in password leak case

A man who was employed by Peters but does not show up on Mesa County payroll records allegedly shared the passwords with conspiracy theorist Ron Watkins – widely rumored to be at the center of the Qanon conspiracy theory – before they were posted on the right-wing blog Gateway Pundit.

What do you think the chances are this goes the distance and Dominion gets bucks? I’m sure they don’t get 1.3 billion but maybe 100 mill or so?

Heck! For $100 million, I wish Kracken and Rudy would start calling me names. I could use that money, pdq.

Very high. Even if the judge determines Dominion is a public figure and therefore has to prove actual damages, it’s got good evidence of lost sales and out-of-pocket expenses. If it’s ruled to be a private figure, the sky is the limit.

ETA: I should specify that they won’t get big bucks from Rudy or Sidney, because they don’t have big bucks. If I were in their position, I would look to cut a lowball settlement by offering to testify that the deep pockets like Fox News all knew the Dominion stuff was bullshit and that’s why they brought them on to spread it. But then again, they’re lunatics and I would never be in their position, so who knows what they’ll do.

Not so sure it matters other than in principal. None of them could raise 10 million…or in the case of Rudy…10 grand.

The cyber expert on the “red team” hired by MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell now says the key data underpinning the theory that China hacked the 2020 election unveiled at the Cyber Symposium is illegitimate.

Mr. Lindell said he had 37 terabytes of “irrefutable” evidence that hackers, who he said were backed by China, broke into election systems and switched votes in favor of President Biden. The proof, he said, is visible in intercepted network data or “packet captures” that were collected by hackers and could be unencrypted to reveal that a cyberattack occurred and that votes were switched.

It would take one hell of a wad of twisted logic to make Dominion a public figure…unless the fact they were working for a public entity does it.

Damn… Biden’s folks got to him as well.

What’s the phrase…“the timing here is concerning”…? That’s a bit like putting on the scrubs, donning the mask and entering the OR and then telling everyone you have no idea what an appendix is. Why do it so damn late?
