A North Carolina judge on Wednesday ruled against media organizations seeking the quick public release of body camera footage showing the fatal law enforcement shooting of Andrew Brown, Jr.

In court, District Attorney Andrew Womble said releasing the video before the state and federal investigations concluded could bias the process.

“You cannot swing a skunk in front of a group of people and then ask them not to smell it,” he said.

Mr. Womble might want to re-think his choice of words!

Hey judge, what’s going to change in 30-45 days? Are you hoping for a stretch of rainy weather?

Wow, that must be some really horrific video, from a Police Union standpoint.

Speaking of prejudicing a jury, DA Womble’s claim he’s seen video - which none of us have or can see - shows “officers were struck” comes to mind.

This whole incident smells.

What the f***.

members of Brown’s immediate family, as well as an attorney for the family, would be able to see additional body camera footage of the incident within 10 days.

Cops need some time to meet to coordinate their stories and rig and plant evidence.

If there was video of Brown’s car hitting officers, it would have been released on day one.

“30-45 days to allow for the relevant authorities in NC to mistakenly lose the footage and any records of chain of custody so that it never ends up being released.”

Fucking hillbilly judge even sounds the part.

I smell multiple skunks and a whole huge nest of rats.

Time to find an AfterEffects wiz to deepfake Brown running over a cop?

Does their playbook only have two plays?

Play 1: Blame the victim.
Play 2: Stall and hope something more egregious happens that distracts people from this particular outrage.

Do they have any others?

Antifa did it.

In addition, Foster said, he would consider the release of the videos between 30 and 45 days from Wednesday

45 days from now: “We must delay the release of the videos due to the impending hurricane.”

“There isn’t any hurricane in the forecast!”

“There might be.”

Leaked an hour after the shooting, anonymously.

Play 3: Do a more egregious act to take the heat off this last act.

Play 4(which got activated last night); declare curfews to give the cops excuses to gas and beat protesters at will, hoping they’ll light the city on fire and the debate will turn towards the violence and looting.

It must be pretty bad if a southern judge still has the balls to cover up evidence in the current climate with the FBI bearing down on them.

Worse. It’s going to be video of cops shooting away with AR-15s like they were in a high school.

They appear to be terrified of the truth.

The optics of how they arrived on scene aren’t great either. CNN has been showing a video they acquired some distance from the house, showing the cops arriving in a police pickup truck (?), with the SWAT guys standing in the back of the truck, as if it’s a raid in Mogadishu or something.

Arriving like that is standard procedure? I guess the local office couldn’t afford one of those Army surplus troop carriers.
