So it looks like we’ll be seeing a lot more claims of “executive privilege” as the noose tightens and the rats start jumping ship via whistleblower cover or otherwise. Add the innefective coverup frenzy to the list of things taking down the Trump regime.

Nehls said though the allegations do not look good and “the optics are horrible,” his colleague has not been indicted for anything.
An indictment probably wouldn’t do it either, after all the leader of their party is a convicted felon.

Isn’t it to Trump’s advantage if the Senate doesn’t allow the SAVE act to come up for a vote? That way he can claim the mail-in votes in California, Oregon, and Washington are fraudulent, and then sue to keep those several dozen Democratic House members from being sworn in. I imagine he knows this. So all of this is theater between him and the Senate Republicans.

Johnson also said he thinks the GOP primary for the seat Gonzales currently holds — scheduled for this coming Tuesday, March 3 — will be a referendum on the allegations.
When he ran last time, what was his lead? Because, yeah, the primary could well be a referendum on the situation, and he could be out of luck.
ETA: Were this a Democrat, the outcry from these same people would be at level 11. What are we hearing from our own Dems? Crickets??
