Tom Suozzi’s win in the New York 3rd Congressional District replacing serial fabulist George Santos Tuesday night will bring Republicans’ majority in the House down to 219-213 once the longtime New York Democrat is sworn in. The high-stakes congressional seat flip for Democrats means that Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) will only be able to lose two Republicans on any party-line vote with full attendance in coming weeks (Republicans still have two vacant seats left by ousted-Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Rep. Bill Johnson (R-OH) who resigned in January).
Just like Kevin McCarthy, Mike Johnson wants to continue to seek and retain power instead of honoring his oath to the U.S. Constitution and in serving the best interests of the country. That makes him a MAGA whore.
People have suggested he might be a Moscow operative, but I don’t think he’s smart enough for that. He’s what the KGB labelled a useful idiot, and will get kicked to the curb when he’s no longer useful.

I’m assuming that Leader Jeffries is already working to get enough of the GOP squishes lined up on discharge petitions for any number of Democrat priorities like Ukraine funding.
