Adding an impeachment article on the Mueller probe obstruction is a nice touch. People must know that his criminality stretches back to the 2016 election and the issues uncovered in the Mueller investigation.
The other thing I would add (and this might actually be a surprise article) is an article of impeachment against Trump for suborning perjury of Michael Cohen and for lying in his written responses to Special Counsel Mueller with respect to Roger Stone. The collusion case was proven when Roger Stone was convicted. Prosecutors put Trump on trial and proved to a jury that Roger Stone lied to protect Trump. We also know from Trump’s responses to Mueller that he lied about his contacts with Stone in order to protect himself. A key collusion track is now proven. Btw, we do know that the House is investigating whether Trump lied under oath to Mueller, so don’t be surprised if an article of impeachment relating to the Stone conviction and the Trump Campaign-Stone-Wikileaks-Russia track appears.
It is these 2 suggested articles of impeachment that I think tip the resignation meter towards an exit for Trump. He can be prosecuted on either of these proposed articles.
I am overawed by the RoyCohn-CircleTheWagons-Lie-A-Minute tactics of TeamTrump to throw sand in our gears as we grind on in this battle. They still pick off too many people and make them despair.
Because we are making significant progress enough to greatly distress Donald J. Trump.
I like this. ![]()
Just take your time there are absolutely zero reasons to hurry the process. In actuality hurry usually leaves something important on the floor.
Over my 45+ year career, I made sure to make it a practice to set aside important decisions for a day or so. Let them perk in the sub-conscience. The result many times was that I found I had made a simple mistake upon reviewing once more. A mistake that upon correction saved and/or made millions.
Yes, but it does not have to be this week or next week. Take your time, do it right. Personally I believe the 1st of the year is about right.
Oh I agree, my comment was directed more at the necessary 2/3 to convict. Personally I believe we can eek out a 51 Senator majority on a few articles of impeachment which will go a long way towards changing the narrative to “Trump is guilty” even if he’s not convicted and removed.
