Maybe he’ll be able to get tRump to come down for a rally. I hear he’s really popular and will likely put Sessions right on top.
He was extraordinary for the Kentucky Gov., sure it will work again.

Don’t the people of Alabama deserve better than this? Don’t they ever get tired of circling the drain?

Alabamians do not fear going down the drain so long as Mississippi remains a state.

The Republican party (or maybe just Moscow Mitch) likely begged him to run to keep Moore from winning the primary, I don’t see any other reason that Sessions would want to go back to the Senate, as he would be a junior senator, possibly in the minority. The Republicans are obviously worried about losing three seats and feel like they must win Jones’ seat back to keep control. It’s not a slam dunk for Sessions though, there’s no guarantee that others step aside for him, and Moore may lock up enough of the right winger vote (Sessions will get no love from Trump or his supporters) to pull it off. And Jones may win again, he’s not necessarily a lost cause, especially if the Democratic vote really comes out in Alabama.

He lied under oath about his meetings with Russians during the Trump campaign.

Why no perjury referral to DOJ?

Though Sessions might have a decent shot at unseating Jones, one of the Senate’s most vulnerable Democrats, it doesn’t seem likely that Trump, who apparently still hasn’t forgiven Sessions, will give him a leg up in the primaries.

Trump needs every red hat in the Senate that he can get. If there’s a chance to put Sessions on the impeachment jury, then Trump will sell Alabama to Brazil if that’s what it takes to get the fix in.

Speculation that Trump holds grudges is worthless, given how transactional he is. Trump would shit in your dinner while you watch and then with a straight face try to glad-hand you 10 minutes later. The only uncertainty is whether it’s because he’s too stupid, or he thinks you are. If Sessions wants Trump’s support, all he has to do is say one nice thing about him in the media.

Maybe. But there’s no guarantee Sessions would win the primary. Let their plans for domination be crushed into dust.

This is bad news for Doug Jones. And for the yahoos who were competing for the Republican nomination. Sessions has money already, and very high name recognition. I hate that he has announced. We’ll do what we can, but Sessions will be tough to beat.

Mississippi’s governor elect today bravely vowed to save the state that is 50th in health care, 46th in education and 48th in economy from “the leftward drift of our country.”

Impeachment will be lonely over before Nov 2020.

Trump won’t help Sessions, even if Moscow Mitch begs Trump will do the bare minimum and then turn around and shit all over sessions.

Trump doesn’t care about that GOP, the House or the Senate, he only cares about Trump
