The optimist in me would like to believe that Sessions has a good barometer of when to run, when to join, how long to stay, and when to leave. Which leads me to hope that maybe he sees trump trending ever more downward.

I would like to see the primary centered around the two who have the most name recognition and experience, just as I would in any election. That would be Sessions (R-Keebler) and Moore (R-Mallcreeper).

Look at this way. How much work does Sessions have left in him? One, two terms. And weāre assuming that Doug Jones is just going to go away meekly. Sessions may not be the superelf he thinks he is and Doug Jones has made some friends he didnāt have before. I donāt live in Alabama, but I do live in a state that starts with āAā.
