Now add that to Matt Gaetz today claiming he had an external SSD with the contents of Hunter’s laptop on it and introducing it at the Committee hearing today, Ron Johnson going nuts yesterday and claiming that he and Grassley will be outing all the crimes and connections of the Bidens and financial connections that prove POTUS Biden is “compromised” over the next couple days and Grassley also tweeting out, in response to a tweet about the judge finding Trump almost certainly committed obstruction of Congress, that he has documents showing the Bidens’ corrupt connections to China (the two pages he shares showing nothing but a domestic wire of $100K and some signatures and no indication of any connection to China).
The all out blitz is now coming. They are terrified and this is ALL coordinated and planned as part of the coverup AND as an extortionist threat aimed at the POTUS to get him to force DOJ and the Dems to back off or tread lightly.

So… Given that it allegedly has child porn on it, why hasn’t the fbi paid him a visit? Whether or not the content was hunter’s it’s unknown, but the contents themselves are alleged to be entirely illegal, think someone needs to be in prison.
Maybe give KBJ a chance real quick to demonstrate to the Republicans in the Senate how harsh she can deal with a case like this.

What is the philosophy behind the right and conservationism’s support of an autocratic Russia and it’s geopolitical goals. Sure we see the fellow traveler chemistry, but what’s the payoff. Is it just that Russia as it’s currently configured allows for the kind of wealth, power and freedom authoritarian types aspire to? Do they just want to join the oligarch’s club? Hmm, maybe I just answered my own question. Have a good day.

Yes, “democratic” Ukraine has for a good couple of decades been one of the most corrupt countries in the world, the most so in Europe along with Russia, and not long ago was characterized as a kleptocracy. Just last fall, Ukraine’s high court put its foot down in defense of that mode of operation, overturning an anti-corruption law passed by their parliament, under pressure from the U.S. That Manafort and probably many others would seek to take advantage of it is no surprise; they were just “fitting in.”

Bingo. NO chain of custody. No authentication. The only thing that’s come out is NYT saying in an article that some sort of anonymous “officials”, WHO COULD JUST BE ASSHOLES FROM THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION, claimed that the emails were authenticated somehow (which of course has been taken by the right wing propaganda machine to mean the entire laptop and every single bit of its alleged contents was proven to be true, accurate and authenticated ALONG WITH the various conspiratorial INTERPRETATIONS of it that the right wing have pushed…of course very different than the noncredible shit the NYT actually did say in the first place). It could never be used for prosecution. It is complete garbage. How the “repair guy” came into possession, where it came from before that, who has had access to it, what they might have done with it or put on it or removed from it, etc. etc. etc. The thing might as well be a dried out rope of cat shit that everyone is handing around and sniffing in hopes of visions into the multiverse.

Manafort is a summa cum laude graduate of the Lee Atwater acadamy for dirty tricksters: like fellow ‘graduate’ Roger Stone but with better suits and smoother moves. Although clearly corrupt, it is not clear to me though how much of what he did would be criminally prosecutable other than his continued connection to Ukrainian oligarchs when he came to work for Trump; e.g., did this make him a foreign agent or constitute a foreign contribution to Trump’s campaign since he performed sans salary (who was paying him IOW).

I’m of the sense if they don’t take majorities they’ll shout even louder about voter fraud and cheating Dems. They are past introspection and fully convinced that the majority of Americans think and act just like they do.
