Trump: No benefit to me, no pardon. Make your best offer.
McConnell sent a stern warning to China via Twitter:
The people of Hong Kong are bravely standing up to the Chinese Communist Party as Beijing tries to encroach on their autonomy and freedom. Any violent crackdown would be completely unacceptable. As I have said on the Senate floor: The world is watching. https://www.republicanleader.senate.gov/newsroom/remarks/mcconnell-on-democracy-and-autonomy-in-hong-kong-the-world-is-watching

I’m sure China is very afraid.
Market up over 400 points after Trump signals postponing additional tariffs until December.
Guess he looked at some data or else his tariff threats were just another market manipulation. Gold has not given back any of the two hundred dollar plus gain since June. That’s a pretty good indication this gain will erode. Gold has been around $1,200 to $1,300 for more than three years. Until it falls back into that range, I’m not certain the correction is over.
Blagovich: Well, in a few months some of your “Actings” are going to hit the 200 day limit and you’ll need a new one…
Sadly there is henious crap happening that will affect out kids and grandkids … which angers me. Now ya hafta be well off and flush with cash … with medical insurance of your own to be considered a legal immigrant potentially worthy of the coveted green card.
No more of this “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free…” Now ya hafta be like daddy trump preferably.
And the Endangered Species Act is heing gutted. Mainly because trump rejects climate science bevsuse it runs counter to his business model which is “make money anyway you can and damn any consequences cuz we won’t be around by then.”
The correction over? Not even close, the market has a long way to go, this is a blip.
Unless the GOP can ram through another tax cut to buoy the market for another year or two. But I don’t think that is likely.
Or perhaps di***bot does the weekend headlines. Maybe even the article selection, just to mess with us.
I know this makes for a good headline but pardoning a crook is a lot different than deciding that he lost a round as a reality gameshow contestant.
And vile waste of whatever Rare Earth Elements go into the chemicals that turn his face and hair orange.
This a trial balloon. He’ll likely pardon him.
The exchange came in the third episode of Blagojevich’s breathtakingly absurd four-episode run on Celebrity Apprentice.
The entire program was breathtakingly absurd. I don’t know how it lasted beyond the first three episodes of the first season. I don’t even know how it got out of the concept stage to be put on the air.
Jesus. I can’t believe anyone watched this detritus.
It’s amazing how much access you can get when you’re a billionaire*…

Define heinous. 45 going to a plant in Monaca PA to talk about jobs but instead turning it into a rant about Obama, China, the lawsuits he’s facing, the money he’s lost occupying WH and of course HRC. Because it wouldn’t be an unhinged rant without mentioning her.
the crowd of mostly white, male workers in bright orange and yellow construction vests was the audience for a 67-minute speech that was nearly indistinguishable from something that Mr. Trump would deliver at one of his campaign rallies.
Mr. Trump railed against China, President Barack Obama, the lawsuits he is facing, the money he claims being president has cost him, Hillary Clinton, Democrats running against him and, as always, his news coverage.
The president occasionally touched on energy policy as he claimed credit for one of the largest active construction projects in the United States, the Shell Pennsylvania Petrochemicals Complex. The plans for the complex, which will convert natural gas into plastics, were in fact announced in 2012, while Mr. Obama was in office
The conspiracy theory that will knit all the other conspiracy theories together is the one explaining how Don and Rod met at the same hairdresser.
