In The Trump II Presidency, Things Can Always Get Worse ... And Often Do

Hegseth had suggested giving the chief of staff position to Marine Col Ricky Buria after the first person in the role, Joe Kasper, left last month in the wake of a contentious leak investigation that brought the ouster of three other senior aides.

But the White House has made clear to Hegseth that Buria will not be elevated to become his most senior aide at the Pentagon, the people said, casting Buria as a liability on account of his limited experience as a junior military assistant and his recurring role in internal office drama.

Frankly, TSA can be stripped way the hell down, too.

It’s time to stop letting 2001 Osama bin Laden win. He wanted to force us to abandon our liberties out of fear, and people couldn’t hand him the win fast enough.

I disagree.

Getting him on record as a Trump official making statements that contradict what they are saying in Court is a great way to keep racking up losses for the Trump regime.

Reminds me of Iraqis – police and insurgents.

IIRC, there was the same kind of masking in Afghanistan.
I don’t get when that became justified in this country.

It was an hour drive either way, but we always felt more comfortable using Philadelphia rather than Newark. Yikes!

Except Hitler was still an addict.

Author Norman Ohler tells Fresh Air 's Terry Gross that Hitler did have a secret, but it wasn’t a weapon. Instead, it was a mix of cocaine and opioids that he had become increasingly dependent upon. “Hitler needed those highs to substitute [for] his natural charisma, which … he had lost in the course of the war,” Ohler says.

Trump is very likely getting pumped full of the modern day version of the ‘vitamins’ that Hitler took, necessary to keep an orange corpse upright and talking.

Need to eliminate all plants too as we’re running a trade deficit in oxygen with everything green.

They should be paying for all that CO2 they take from us. Without asking or getting permission, I might add.

Once in Denver airport going thru TSA a kid wanded my right knee… he says “wassat?” I said it was a total knee replacement… “whul, kin youse take it out?” I asked for his supervisor. Gent shows up and I got an exact word for word reprise where upon I showed them the 8 inch scar on my right knee. Got two red faced sheepish grins in return. And sent on my way. That’s TSA.

The real problem is that cops are hammers, and government at every level are the ones looking at us as nails.

They could have more tools available, but they choose not to, so they apply the hammers. First response to a medical emergency? Cops. Mental illness response? Cops.

Society needs an overhaul, not just the cops.
