Former San Diego City Councilman Carl DeMaio jumped into the race for Rep. Duncan Hunter’s (R-CA) seat Monday, a sign of the party’s concerns that Hunter’s baggage makes his seat vulnerable.

In an even marginally moral party Hunter’s baggage would be wholly unacceptable. But once again, it shows itself to be the Guardians Of Plutocrats.
So how soon before Hunter decides to spend more time with [what’s left of] his family?

They’ll both be disgraced and in jail before the general.

De Maio is at least as big an asshole as Hunter.
But it is only a matter of time. That district is the only one in San Diego County held by a Republican.
I lived in that district for most of my life. Amazing the changes that have happened over the years.
