" In 2020 Texts Tucker Carlson Lamented He Would Likely ‘Die’ At Fox News"
May have lied a lot, but it looks like he had the gift of prophesy.
I tried that. Seems like you weren’t listening
Um, I am sure his family wouldn’t want that.
Tucker just isn’t taking advantage of the opportunities offered by RT, Sputnik and, in a pinch, in Orban’s Hungary.
Hey, he might even get to interview Putin in such a new job.
ETA: It’s time he took hold of his bootstraps!
Carlson represents something new in broadcast journalism: propaganda with a different name
You forgot Rule #1 Tuck…ETTD
He doesn’t have to worry about that now. What news service will fire him next?
I dunno about that: it went by the name ‘Truth’ (Pravda) for a long time.
His family to Carlson: “Get a job, man.”
Anywhere he wants to die is peachy with me. If he rather die, then he had better do it, and decrease the surplus population of complete magat lunatics.
We could really fuck up a lot of what we’ve built.
It’s interesting to consider what Tuck is referring to here by “what we’ve built.”
Note that Carlson’s entire concern was focused on himself, rather than in relation to any of the large-scale damage or suffering his lies were causing.
Real great American there.
“Got to do whatever I can to keep our numbers up and our viewers happy.”
So, why don’t we lie to them.
I’m having a hard time following the “logic” of Carlson’s “lamentations” in these text about Trump’s lies.
He is basically saying Trump’s lies are “trapping him” because they have to keep lying on Trump’s behalf because they have to appease the idiot MAGAts in order to service the ratings Carlson is desperate to keep healthy.
Have I got that right?
Messages like this are gold for Smartmatic and anyone else coming after fox.
“How can we avoid telling the truth, because telling the truth would cost us viewers and money?” I think we’re on record as blowing way past reckless disregard.
“We need to do something to reassure our core audience. They’re our whole business model.”
“We have been pushing for answers,” Baier responded. “I have pressed them to slow. And I think they will slow walk Nevada. The votes don’t come in until tomorrow.”
Wait. Isn’t Baier one of their “real journalists?”
Not only can you strike the false “Fair and Balanced” self-declaration by Fox, you can also strike “Honest and Truthful” from their values, as well.
It’s a common affliction among the insanely rich. Their appetite for money can never be satisfied, and it drives them to do things that are, well, deplorable.
Only question is where he will surface next–Sirius, OANN or Newsmax.
